2 years room provides a calming environment where the children are fully supported in exploring, problem solving, engaging in social interactions where little friendships start to form, discover the amazing world of nature around them, enhancing key words and sounds by singing a variety of nursery rhymes and listening to repetitive stories which are regularly supported by puppets as well as using a variety of visual aids.
The Waterpoppies start to promote independence by supporting families with potty training when the child starts to show an interest. Guidance, support, songs and books are provided with a relaxed atmosphere.
To continue to support the child’s routine from home, a cosy area is available for the children to sleep with relaxation music and lullaby lighting.
A sensory area is also available for the children to continue to explore all of their senses whilst being in a low lighting area with a variety of textures and sounds.
